About Me
Hello there! I’m Rachael. I recently earned my Doctorate in Violin Performance at Boston University. I have been lucky enough to have amazing teachers in my life, and I am very passionate about teaching and passing on knowledge about this beautiful instrument. I believe with the right guidance and attitude, it’s never too late to pick up the violin!
Teaching
I have experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. I pride myself on customizing my approach to fit the needs and interests of each unique student. I prioritize efficient technique and a healthy posture, because freedom of motion encourages freedom of expression. I work with each of my students to develop a realistic and consistent practice plan to help them fit violin into their life in a meaningful way.
Although Covid-19 has halted in-person lessons and performances for the time being, Zoom lessons offer a wonderful alternative. I am currently accepting students and providing teacher-training consultations. Please contact me for more information.
